Newly promoted Premier League team Norwich City have been given a reality check on star midfielder Emiliano Buendia by one of their former players Robert Green in a chat with the Daily Mirror. According to the former Norwich City shot stopper, this summer might be the right time for Buendia to leave the Canaries amidst the transfer rumours linking him with a move to Premier League clubs Arsenal and Aston Villa.
Green stated that Buendia has added an edge to his game and that he’s now a better player. His quality has not gone unnoticed in the Premier League with Arsenal keen on the player if they can’t sign Real Madrid loaneeMartin Odegaard for the new season.
Odegaard joined the Gunners from Real Madrid on a short-term loan in January and the Norwegian international is set to stay and fight for his place in the Madrid starting XI now that Zidane has left the club. Odegaard hardly had a look in with Zidane as Real Madrid manager. With Odegaard now determined to stay at Real Madrid, his spot could be taken by Buendia though the Gunners will have to pay around £40m including add-ons to sign him.
