Newly promoted Premier League team Norwich City have been given a reality check on star midfielder Emiliano Buendia by one of their former players Robert Green in a chat with the Daily Mirror. According to the former Norwich City shot stopper, this summer might be the right time for Buendia to leave the Canaries amidst the transfer rumours linking him with a move to Premier League clubs Arsenal and Aston Villa.
Green made over 200 appearances for Norwich City during his playing career and he believes that his former club will find it difficult to keep hold of Buendia who has been the best player in the Championship this season. The Argentine player scored 15 goals and provided 16 assists in the league for the Canaries as they won the English Championship title to secure promotion to the Premier League after just one season in the second tier. Norwich City have taken their losing run to two games after they followed up the defeat to playoff spot chasers Bournemouth with another loss at the hands of Watford in second place.
